I have 2 professional cameras on my body all day, one for digital and one for film. I use them interchangeably. I will also have my Super 8 camera on me and take short clips throughout the day to combine into a short highlight. You will receive a curated gallery based on moments and my style.
Absolutely. I give all of my couples a comprehensive planning packet that includes timeline details. As we plan, I will start to fill in your timeline for you. If you are working with a planner or coordinator, I will make sure to connect with them and plan our timelines together. It is my priority to be on the same page as the rest of your vendors so that your day runs smoothly.
Yes! I am based in the Southtowns of Buffalo, NY, but I am open to travel. For couples sessions, travel is covered up to 100 miles. For weddings, I have a package that includes travel in NY State. Depending on distance in NY, I may require a lodging fee. Out-of-state travel is a single charge, and discussed while planning.
Almost every couple I have ever booked has at one point said to me that they feel awkward or nervous in front of the camera, so you're not alone. I create a personalized experience for each couple that helps me to make you feel relaxed in front of the camera. I approach portraits with prompts, so you'll never feel like a doll just waiting to be posed! I will also make sure to help you throughout so you always know what to do, and where to put your hands.
This is actually so important to me. I know what it's like to be a bride where your entire day felt like a photo shoot. I work very intentionally being sure to take a "back-seat" when moments are happening, but stepping in when direction is needed.
You'll receive a preview gallery of digital images within 48 hours. After your film has been developed and delivered, I will add some film previews for you. Your final gallery will be delivered in 6-8 weeks.
When editing your final gallery, I have my own style of editing. I work for a mix of documentary, detail, and editorial moments to include. I will refine images with color correcting and some AI removal. I work to remove anything that takes away from the moment in the image, or I don't remember being noticable in the moment.
I do not edit my film deelpy. I go in to make sure color-correction is accurate, and will crop if needed. There will likely be outlets and signs in your film photos if they were there in the moment.
