As a mom, I see you.
We're always the ones behind the camera documenting the first steps, the cute little details like the wrinkle of their toes that we want to remember, but we are rarely in the shot. Once they grow, it's harder to keep up. We're grasping for those moments of connectedness, and familiarity.
These sessions are about documenting the truth in those moments. The ones that allow your children to be most themselves, and truly showcase the unique and beautiful bond that you share. I choose to document the beauty of motherhood from a photojournalistic lens and majority on 35mm film.

Motherhood is my universe.
It’s the force that shapes how I move through the world. It's the reason I push myself, the reason I soften, the reason I grow into someone braver and more present than I ever was before. Becoming a mother didn’t just change my life; it gave it depth, urgency, and meaning.
These sessions exist because time in motherhood moves impossibly fast. One season flows into the next before you’ve had a chance to fully hold it the waiting, the becoming, the nursing days, the tiny hands, the in-between moments that quietly define everything. From maternity to infancy, toddlerhood and beyond, each stage carries its own magic, its own weight, its own beauty.
My hope is to give mothers a way to return to these moments and to cherish them, relive them, and keep them close long after they’ve passed. Not as perfection, but as truth. As proof of how deeply you loved, how fully you showed up, and how extraordinary these ordinary days truly were.

Listen, not everyone has an Architectural Digest-worthy home; I sure as heck don't! But that's not what this is about. As long as your home has some natural light and makes you feel safe and cozy, it's perfect.
If you'd prefer, we can rent a studio; I love Studio Beck—it has the perfect home feel.
Mine either! These are not your traditional photos. I will not make you sit down and pose with your child(ren). Instead we will sit with them, play, and laugh. This session is more about documenting your connection through an honest lens.
Don't worry though, the results are photos that you'll want to hang on your wall and remember every day!
We can read, color, play games, run around, and play make-believe. We could make cookies, color, and build with blocks. To be honest, I'm down for whatever you and your child enjoy doing the most. This is, after all, all about that.
I do focus heavily on film at these sessions; however, I do still take digital frames. That being said, you'll receive a preview gallery of digital images within a few days of your session. Once the film comes back from my lab, I will add some film previews as well.
You'll receive a final high-resolution, fully edited gallery of images ready for download or print 2 - 4 weeks after your session.
That doesn't change a thing! I'm happy to work with you to capture things that your kiddos are intersted in.
